Nung nag-summer ako sa Diliman…

Sige, magtatagalog ako. Minsan lang naman to eh, total bukas ay lilisanin ko na rin naman ang napakalawak na paaralang to.

Ano nga bang nangyari? Masaya ba? Malungkot? Ano? Di ko maintindihan kaya idadaan ko nalang sa Nung Freshie ako style, total usong-uso naman ngayon.

Ok, nung nag-summer ako sa Diliman…

-Akala ko araw-araw my FUN RUN. Tengene, kahit malakas yung buhos ng ulan, meron pa ring mga punyetang nagsisipagtakbuhan. ODK! Wala ba kayong concern sa kalusugan niyo?

-NagTAXI kami galing CAL papuntang CS. Lalakarin lang pala dapat, inikot-ikot namin halos buong school yun pala sa likod lang yung street. SHET ha!

-Naging bestfriend ko si Jollibee, pagbalik ko sa Iloilo ayoko munang makakita ng Jollibee foods.

-Mukhang snobs yung mga SAs sa Registrars’ Office, nabwisit ako nung registration.

-Kalayaan ang inaplyan kong dorm, di pala pwede dun. Hehehe.

-Tatlong beses kaming pinagalitan ng mga taxi drivers. Una nung di namin alam papuntang Alumni Hostel, pangalawa di namin alam yung Sampaguita Res. Hall at pangatlo nung sumakay kami galing SM North. Eh, kayo na nga yung nakaka-benefit nun eh, ba’t galit kayo?

-Di ako nakakain ni minsan sa KNL, Mang Larry’s at Area 1 and 2 (teka meron ba talaga nun?)

-Tinetextmate ako nung Aling Belen’s Kainan na number. Nagtext po kami para kumain, di para mgtext kayo nung mga quotes.

-Nakita ko ang aking one true love (kamukha lang), yung classmate ko.

-Nag-essay sa finals na hindi ko talaga alam yung sagot. What are two recurring phenomena based on fossils blah blah? Me, I really don’t know. Maybe LIFE and DEATH. Hahaha. Tangene!

-Nakasagupa ng limpak-limpak na conyo! UP ang MAHAL mo na talaga!

-Nagkasakit second week ng klase.

-Nag-Mayo Uno sa Mendiola. Nagpainit ng todo-todo, inulan ng bonggang bongga.

-Nang-invite para sa KPL workshop sa Palaris.

-Umiyak dahil ininjan ng Tita, ay di pala naghintay lang ng humigit-kumulang isang oras sa isang strange na lugar. Huhuhu.

-First time kong nag-Trinoma at SM North, dati kasi South areas talaga kami.

-Nakapanood ng First Philippine Fireworks Competition Grand Finals sa Riverbanks, Marikina.

-Nawalan ng Php500 habang nagjo-jogging sa Academic Oval.

-Nagbayad ng Bracket A kahit Bracket B. Shet! Di pa ren naprocess ang refund, sige sa inyo nalang yan. Uwi na’ko eh.

-Nakita ko si BLKD. Mukang snob talaga, DELLO magpakita ka nga!!! =)

-Naging bestfriend ko ang Google Map. Thank you.

-Marami pa, sa isip at sa puso ko nalang yung iba.

Nung nagsummer ako sa Diliman, alam kong uuwi din ako. Kaya Goodbye, hanggang sa susunod na pagkakataon.

Reality hurts but this video is very educational. I’m a Political Science major and yeah almost everything stated here is right. All the stuff about Western Politics (PS 170), Interest groups (PS 161), Bureaucracy (PS 150), every readings that made my nose bleed, your pre-law classmates, your “intellectual” coursemates. It sucks! They suck. Some suck! Hahaha.

But I’m lovin’ it; I’m lovin’ some.

What to expect when you’re expecting…

Not really unexpected.

Earlier we went to Trinoma to watch American Pie: Reunion, unfortunately it was not available. So we went to SM North hoping it was still showing there, however it was not.

Ugggghhhh!!!!!!!!! What a disaster!!!!

What else should we do? We don’t wanna just go home. We wasted time. Then we decided to watch another movie, WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN YOU’RE EXPECTING.

The movie was all star. There’s Cameron Diaz, JLo, James Morrison, Anna Kendrick, Elizabeth Banks and others. There was even cameos of Dwayne Wade, Taboo from Black-eyed Peas, Whitney Port and Cheryl Cole.

It was about parenting and stuff about getting pregnant. The movie was actually predictable. A man not ready to have a child and eventually adopted coz his wife wants it so bad; a couple waiting for so long to have a baby and later conceived one; a one-time sex turned out a mess coz the girl got pregnant but eventually lost the child; a group of happy dads who actually hate to do dirty works but love their babies.

You know watching that film made me want to have a baby so bad. While watching I said atleast twice “Gusto ko na magkabata”. Of course not now but soon enough. When it’s the right time. Fuck, who knows when will be the right time?

Anyway, I don’t like the film but I don’t hate it either. It’s just awkward to see Will from Glee do a movie. Hahaha.

To the soon-to-be moms and wanna-be moms you have to watch it.

PS. It’s the cheapest movie I’ve seen here in Manila but still pricier than the one in Iloilo.

When I was a freshie…

It was our topic the whole time earlier, before and after our Bio exam. We stated a lot of things about us when we were still in first year here in UP Visayas. We also mimic the “When I was a freshie” thingy of the USC Diliman because one of our classmates is a college representative. We were so mean coz when he passed by I said’ “RAIZ, Sakay ta TOKI?” pause and “JOKE LANG”. So maybe may idea na kayo kung sino yun if you watched the video. (Sorry, that was really funny)

So when I was a freshie ano nga ba?

When I was in first year…

-may Freshie Day pa. Free tour around the campus sakay ng tryk.

-Handwritten pa ang Assessment kahit sa form 5

-The first time na nakakita ako nang rally and when asked to join “OK, next time” and yeah I did join afterwards

-During freshmen orientation my grandma was asked “Ikaw Maam ano kurso ng anak mo?” Nanay said, “AMBOT AH, WALA KO GINPAMANGKOT” and I was like “WHHHHHAAAAAATTTT?”

-The only reason I have for taking up Political Science is “I find it interesting” while my classmates were into International Law, Bureaucracy and stuff.

-Tryk was only Php5.oo

-Sino ang hindi nakakakilala kay GIRL?

-I wanted to shift to BA Literature then BS Fisheries then BS Marketing

-I wanted to drop and transfer

-I’m only friends with Raiza, Merille, Dana, September, Darlene and Sherwin. The rest were like acquaintances later became friends

-Whole first year I was like “Who is Manang Maria?”

-I went home every weekend, now every sembreaks nalang.

-I never read nor photocopied any Pol Sci 14 assignment, yet 2.25 hell yeah!

-I was called Celina during our cheering days

-There was no Chancellor nor AS Park only big trees with big dreams. Hahaha.

-We performed in the Oblation Play — not Oblation Run

-Oblation Run was during the night

-I study harder

-Wala pa ‘kong grade na 3.0

-I thought TBA was a building

-I cried so hard when our teacher retired (RIP Sir)

-We were all asked to tell our high school achievements, I said “the only thing I got was Athlete of the Year”

-Defined Theory, Ideology and Philosophy, first day of Soc Sci 2.

-I got a perfect score for our first quiz in Spanish 1

-First quiz of the semester, I got a 5.0

-First long exam, 4.0

-I passed all my long exams except first long in Soc Sci 2

-I thought SAMASA was the only political organization in UP Visayas. Others were like interest organizations only.

-I really thought raising your hand is required during UP Naming Mahal

-the University Week was a lot of fun, street painting, stalls for student orgs, no classes, games in one day plus food

-I’ve never been to CDH until second semester, Heaven’ Bliss until second year and Lola’s until third year, I only ate at ZIPZAPZOOM

- 4×2 = 8×2= 16 pages pa ang bluebook nun. Ngayon 3x2x6= 12 nalang

-60 ang passing sa Math 11 at 59.35 ako, I beg our teacher and yeah that night she announced ” Sige na nga class, 55 na ang passing.”

-I still have a lanyard

-I don’t have a laptop

-I thought the couple A. B and F. M. were like siblings

-I hate Miagao

-Never been to Omp’s, Vineyard and Mang Doming’s

-Redbolts was still a champion

-I got a bruise on my knees after a slide while playing tennis, that night we practiced cheering though I can’t stand, next day cheering competition right after the cheering was semi-finals and yeah I wanted to die that instant

-What I learned from PS 11 is why Malacanang is bigger than a Brgy. Hall (deep sense)

-yun na yun =)

So later my stay became a lot of fun and productive. I learned so much from different kinds of people and that made me who I am now. Sana maka-graduate na talaga next year. =)

I’m not a good singer, not even less good but not that worst either. (or atleast I think so)
