The Amazing Spiderman VERSUS Spiderman

Fun Facts I found out about the two Peter Parker movies. Whoa! This is pretty interesting, though I love the Tobey Maguire version, I can’t deny the fact that Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone tandem was hot.

The Amazing Spiderman (TAS): Red and Blue body suit that looks very grungy and homemade.
Spider Man (SM): Red and Blue body suit that looks very clean- like a boss tailor made it.

*The Amazing SPiderman Flick actually takes some elements from the Ultimate Spiderman Comic Book Series- the series that gave Spidey a new, updated look.

TAS: Spiderman’s web cmes out of a mechanical device Pete invented. He refills the device every time it runs out of web.
SM: His web pews out fromhis wrists. The only time his supply runs low is when he’s having a superhero identity crisis! (See Spiderman 2)

*The Amazing Spiderman swings back from organic to mechanical shooters to add more drama to Pete’s personality.

TAS: The Lizard (Dr. Curt Connors) is the frist villain in the reboot. Dr. Connors is actually a close friend of Peter’s parents.
SM: The Green Goblin (Norman Osborn) was the first to give Spiderman some epic spider headaches.

*In the Spiderman comics, Dr. Connors always had a Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde complex. But both his egos played the bad guy.

TAS: Gwen Stacy is Pete’s high school crush and first love. She’s the daughter of police captain George Stacy.
SM: Mry Jane Watson is Pete’s childhood crush and first love. Gwen Stacy didn’t appear until the third movie.

*In the original Spiderman, Gwen Stacy is Parker’s first love. He didn’t date MJ Watson until after…

SPOILER ALERT: Stacy died years later.

HAHAHA. Love it! More fun facts to come.
